Brake pad
In our friction products, the brake pads and linings are manufactured from a compound that allows them to perform under the most extreme conditions. It is important to bear in mind that the brake system is subject to temperatures of up to several hundred degrees Celsius.
Due to how important the braking system is in vehicles, the materials used for SBP brake pads are exclusively sourced from reputable, certified suppliers.
Brake pad construction:
ANTI-SQUEAK PLATE – a rubber-metal plate designed to eliminate various types of noise and vibration during braking.
BACKPLATE – base of the pad.
UNDERLAYER – eliminates excessive heat generated during braking, reduces noise and vibration.
FRICTION MATERIAL – adapted individually to each vehicle. It is a multi-component mixture.
SLOTS – elements that reduce the mechanical tension in the friction material, which perfectly remove dust from the friction surface.
